We are back with another early-side NOURS magazine, this time from Winter 1997. Not sure I have formally mentioned this, but I worked at a Namco arcade in the Boston area from June 1997 to November 1998, and anything Namco-adjacent during this time is always of interest to me.

We have lots of coverage of Tales of Destiny for PSX, which of course went on to create a large and popular franchise. We have early looks at Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, Famista 64, and Namco Anthology.

Amazing coverage of Rapid River and Motocross Go! for arcades. Both amazing games. I wish I played them more when I had access to them, for sure.

We’ve got some other new and interesting arcade titles such as Libero Grande and World Stadium ’97. And finally, check out this insane horse racing game, “Prospective Winner.” Imagine finding one of these in the wild in 2022?
